Art Specifications:
Abra Kazam works on a Macintosh platform, but can usually handle art
created on a PC.
APPLICATIONS: Freehand 10, Illustrator 8, Photoshop
5, PDF. We can't work with Quark, Word or Powerpoint documents.
SPOT COLOR: Images that print in spot colors should
be saved in Freehand, Illustrator or PDF. Specify spot colors in the Pantone Matching System.
FULL COLOR: or GREYSCALE IMAGES: Images that print
in process (CMYK) should be either Photoshop files or exported as TIFF or JPEG. Greyscale and color images should have a resolution
of 150-300 dpi.
FONTS: Fonts should be converted to outlines or paths.
Type size should be no smaller than 6-point, preferably bold.
MEDIA: Files can be supplied on a floppy, CD or Zip
disk, or can be e-mailed. Always include a hard copy (printout) of the image to be printed. If art is e-mailed, accompanying
hard copy should be faxed or mailed.
Remember to include all supporting files such as TIFFs or JPEGs.
